Title: On the second eigenvalue of a Hardy-Sobolev operator

Abstract: 
  In this note, we study the variational characterization and 
  some properties  of the second smallest eigenvalue of the
  Hardy-Sobolev operator
  $L_{\mu}:=-\Delta_{p}-\frac{\mu}{|x|^p}$ 
  with respect to an indefinite weight $V(x)$.
