Title: Approximations of solutions to retarded 
       integrodifferential equations

Abstract: 
 In this paper we consider  a retarded integrodifferential
 equation and prove existence, uniqueness and convergence of
 approximate  solutions. We also give some examples to illustrate 
 the applications of the abstract results.
