Multiple positive solutions for singular semipositone nonlinear integral boundary-value problems on infinite intervals

Ying Wang

Abstract:
In this article, we study the existence of multiple positive solutions for singular semipositone boundary-value problem (BVP) with integral boundary conditions on infinite intervals. By using the properties of the Green's function and the Guo-Krasnosel'skii fixed point theorem, we obtain the existence of multiple positive solutions under conditions concerning the nonlinear functions. The method in this article can be used for a large number of problems. We illustrate the validity of our results with an example in the last section.
