Decay estimates for solutions of some systems for elasticity with nonlinear boundary feedback

Abstract:
We study the energy decay rate for the Euler-Bernoulli and Kirchhoff plate equations. Under suitable growth assumptions on the nonlinear dissipative boundary feedback functions, we obtain some new results.
