Abstract:
We provide sufficient conditions on the forcing term for a semilinear wave equation with
non-monotone asymptotically linear nonlinearity to have a weak solution.
Earlier results required the forcing term not to be flat on characteristics, now we remove
those requirements. Also we provide estimates on the measure of the level sets of the forcing
term, that suffice for the equation to have a weak solution.
